Sharp TM100 Cool slider black bar

Sharp is not the exclusive phone provider for Vodafone, SmarTone or Far East. It joins another big operator name T-Mobile by providing them a very elegant design slider black bar TM100 multimedia phone. The TM100 will be on T-Mobile store starting from April.

In term of feature, TM100 does not give you any surprise. Basically, TM100 is another version of Sharp GX 20. It comes with a 262K CSG TFT color display with QVGA 240 x 320 pixels screen. The VGA camera can handle still pictures and video clips. TM100 is a triband GSM phone and supports MMS and 40 chords polyphonic ring tones. All these are not new.

But the phone itself expose the stylish attraction. The very flat and sleek silver casing, mixing with cool black and white pattern gives us the extraordinary feeling. When sliding down the keypad from the back, the phone looks like a chocolate bar. The similar design can be found from Japan KDDI AU Infobar and Sony Ericsson T610 . It shows that the Japanese design mobile phone is stepping to the western mobile phone world. Other performance features include an in-built camera with zoom, a picture-editing program with frames and graphic elements, and 40 polyphonic ringtones. It has dimension 100¡Ñ49¡Ñ21.5mm AND weighted about 105 grams. The model will be on sale from April 2004 for EUR 179.95 with a 24-month contract on T-Mobile exclusively.
