The slogan is not made by us, but by Nokia. Actually, up to now, the 6630 is the only one WCDMA phone outside Japan market with 1.3 mega pixels camera phone. If you look at our comparison picture, the size of 6630 is similar with 6600. Thinking of the
huge size 3G phones in the market. The 6630 still has it exclusive strength point. 6630 uses the Nokia famous Series 60 platform. With 3G enhancement like video streaming and video call, the OS itself is enhanced to Symbian 8.0 and Series 60 2.6 version.
According to the official introduction leaflet, the major enhancements of the phone include the camera, the internet browser, media gallery and some system applications. The camera supports up to
1280 x 960 pixels with 640 x 480 pixels as a choice. Users can now adjust the photo contrast, brightness and make multi shots in one application. No third party information is needed now. The new media gallery now include the MP3 so that users can organize all the multimedia files in one application. With stereo handsfree, you can enjoy stereo MP3 music playback. New 6630 also comes with documents viewers for Word and PowerPoint documents; improved browser with javascript support and plug-in; data mover for moving data from old S60 device via bluetooth.
One interesting thing I have to mention here. The 6630 is now supporting video conferencing. However, you cannot find twin camera. The video conferencing can be achieved with the new video call stand accessory with mainly focus on the corporate users in the office. The mobile users can make video call, but the image would be the outside scenery or your portrait through a mirror. Nokia 6630 is also the first phone supporting both WCDMA, EDGE and GPRS. The 2.5G users can still enjoy the high speed data application by using this phone.
